Affiliate Resurrection Review - No Scam Just Cool Tools

After getting access to the software myself I decided to make this review of Affiliate Resurrection.

At first I thought it was going to be one of those scammy things you see over and over but I was pleasantly surprised.

Richard Selby did us a favor and is releasing his software for everyone to get a chunk of the pie.

What's better is this software does it faster than probably anything I've come across and is actually pretty interesting.

What is Affiliate Resurrection?

What makes AR unique is the plug-in play software combined with the support of $1m dollar Clickbank
affiliates. They will teach you how to grow your internet marketing business while using the software.

What AR does is it creates top ranking money making websites, not just one website but a whole slew of
cash cows. You're recieving top notch support and turnkey solutions for every step of the way if you're
lost.

Check it out ==> Affiliate Resurrection

No matter the niche they have you covered with professional looking templates and video tutorials that will show you every aspect of the system.

I also liked the 24/7 support combined with content creation support. They will also show you how to
drive traffic to these sites. All the information about backlinks, SEO, page rank, monetizing, etc is all pretty
spot on too.

It's a great system for people looking to get into affiliate marketing, and that's why I'm recommending it.

Once you master it you can repeat it over and over which is what I do with a network of blogs to diversify
my revenue streams.

They do seem dedicated to your success in the marketing field so you're not just gonna be left in the dark, there will also be live webinars and a support center always online.

What's inside?

The Affiliate Resurrection members area looks pretty great, it's professionaly designed and easy to navigate. Inside you'll find website creation tools, viral marketing software, traffic generation tool (Auto Traffic X), 6 training modules which is comprised of 18 professionally developed training videos which are filled with some great affiliate advice.

Probably my favourite feature that I'll be using a LOT now is the niche and trends section. That's going to come in handy for me.

One of the first things you might want to do if you're new to Blogger is installing a new template.

How To Choose The Right Blogger Template
Posts labeled Blogger Templates

Step One: Find & Download A Template

There are thousands of outstanding free templates out there to choose from.

Here are a list of a few I like:

Find and download the template you would like and save it to a folder where you'll remember where to find it!

Step Two: Unzip It!

There's a 100% chance your template will be zipped, which means you'll need to unpack it. Use WinRar or a similar program for this.

For further help check out this tutorial
How do I extract or uncompress a compressed file?

Step Three: Install it!

Believe it or not you're almost done.

  • Login To Blogger and go to your Dashboard
  • Design > Edit Template
  • Click choose file then find your .xml template file that you unzipped and click open then upload.
  • Once you upload you will most likely be presented with the option of keeping or deleting your widgets. I'd just keep them for now.
  • You're done! View your blog and see what it looks like!

Twitter Puts The Squeeze on Tiny.ly URL Shortener

Achtung! About a week or more ago Twitter blocked Tiny.ly the URL shortening service.

Much to my dismay seeing as it's the only shortener I've been using and I'm sure a lot of you guys have been using it as well.

I've switched over to goo.gl which seems to be a great alternive.

It features a nice bit of analytics too for all your links.

Also if you need it goo.gl goes a step further and even creates your very own QR barcode. Those are those weird looking alien barcodes you may of seen all over the place.

A little look at Goo.gl

If you're using any of the Google services it's probably a good idea to just start using goo.gl seeing as in the future I imagine your goo.gl link data will be integrated into all your other services such as Google Analytics.

If they do that it would take the URL shortening to the next level.

It has it's own API now so expect to see it in your favorite apps soon.

The Definitive List of Must-Have WordPress Plugins

So you've just installed a fresh WordPress blog and want to get the most out of it.

There are some essential WordPress plugins you will want to at the very least check out.

Below in no particular order or some of the plugins that I highly recommend installing and setting up right off the bat.

If I've left any out please let me know any plugins you believe are worthy of a definitive list like this.

Essential WordPress Plugins

1. Google XML Site Maps

This plugin will generate a special XML site map which will help search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and Ask.com to better index your blog. With such a sitemap, it's much easier for the crawlers to see the complete structure of your site and retrieve it more efficiently. The plugin supports all kinds of WordPress generated pages as well as custom URLs. Additionally it notifies all major search engines every time you create a post about the new content.

2. All In One SEO

Automatically optimizes your WordPress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization).

3. Auto Links & Related Posts

SEO Auto Links & Related Posts, is a combination of related posts and auto smart links plugin. The auto links feature will automatically convert post title, meta keywords, and post tags found inside the blog posts into an internal link.

4. SEO Slugs

The SEO Slugs WordPress plugin removes common words like 'a', 'the', 'in' from post slugs to improve search engine optimization.

For example, when you publish a post with a title like this:

"What You Can Do Immediately For Higher Rankings",

WordPress automatically assigns a long filename to your post, called a post slug:

/what-you-can-do-immediately-for-higher-rankings

SEO Slugs plugin strips common words like "what", "you" or "can" out of your post slug to make it more search engine friendly. With SEO Slugs plugin activated, the slug for our example blog post would look like this:

/immediately-higher-rankings

The slug is generated on saving a post (so you get a chance to look at it before publishing, and change it), or on publish. It won't overwrite an existing slug. You can force a new slug generation by deleting the existing one.

5. Akismet

Should already be installed just need to activate it, well worth it to fend off the spam comments.

6. Socialize This

Socialize This is a WordPress plugin that allows the user to easily generate Social Widgets (Icons) and spread to word about their blog posts. It works out-of-the-box with little to no configuration required.

7. Subscribe to Comments

Subscribe to Comments is a robust plugin that enables commenters to sign up for e-mail notification of subsequent entries. The plugin includes a full-featured subscription manager that your commenters can use to unsubscribe to certain posts, block all notifications, or even change their notification e-mail address!

8. Twitter for WordPress

Twitter for WordPress displays yours latest tweets in your WordPress blog.

9. WordPress Database Backups

Simple WordPress Backup allows you to back up your WordPress Database with just one click.

Creates a full dump of your WordPress MySQL Database.

ATTENTION: alpha Release use at your own risk! Test it before using in your productive environment.

10. WP PageNavi

Adds a more advanced paging navigation to your WordPress site.
11. W3 Total Cache

The most complete WordPress performance framework.

12. Affiliate Ninja

Using Ninja Affiliate, you can automatically convert any keyword in your blog to an affiliate link instantly. You can also cloak your affiliate links, track them and manage them right from your WordPress text editor. I use it on all my WP blogs.

13. Redirection

Redirection is a WordPress plugin to manage 301 redirections and keep track of 404 errors without requiring knowledge of Apache .htaccess files.

14. No Self Pings

Some people really like that WordPress sends pings from your own site to your own site when you write posts; it gives them a trail of related posts.

Some people do not like this behavior; it clutters up their comments.

15. Advertising Manager

Easily place Google Adsense and other ads on your WordPress blog. Simple to use, with powerful management and optimisation features.

16. ShareThis

Adds links at the bottom of posts to share via Email, StumbleUpon, Digg, Facebook, Twitter.

17. WP-PostRatings

Adds a complete post rating system to your blog.

45 Virtually Pointless Stock Photos

You've seen them while browsing for good stock photos for your blog's lead image.

The awkward, weird and just plain stupid ones that seem to absolutely make no sense.

Some of these I can barely see what concept they were trying to go for but ask yourself, what actual blog post could these be possibly be put in?

Keep in mind most of these I found on http://www.istockphoto.com/ which means they are not free, which begs the question -- Who's buying this stuff?
