  Chances are you have quite a few, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube you name it. Seesmic Desktop 2 tries to bring this all together in one package. Add your accounts and with one interface update your status inside a clean UI. Promoting your blog using social media seems to be the norm these days. After all that's where most of the people spend their time.

  With Seesmic Desktop 2 you will connected to every facet of your social web. If you're a twitter fan you'll love it, it updates tweets in real time and has overall good support for twitter. At it's core right now I'd say it is a Twitter application, but there is more in store.




 



In the not so distant future...

  Once it's all said in done you should be able to become a social networking juggernaut with this thing along side mobile support apps to stay with it on the go. At launch it will come equipped with all the basics such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin, Foursquare, Google Buzz, Bit.ly and TwitPic. In what they're calling the SD2 Marketplace you will be able to find additional plugins to add to the program.

  That's where it gets a bit interesting because the possibilities go through the roof. I'm going to keep a close eye on this program as it's shaping up to be something pretty useful.
