If you're using Blogger you are most likely capitalizing on Picasa to upload all your photos as it's nicely integrated with Picasa and your Google account.
It doesn't matter if you're using the Compose mode or editing your HTML you still no doubt have to resize photos in some way.
The compose mode gives the least customization in terms of resizing as it only gives you the same options as buying a shirt, small, medium and large, etc.
So today I'm going to be showing just how easy it is to set the size of your image and keep proportions just as you would if you opened up Photoshop.
Here's how it's done
Once logged in hit the upload button located here.
This box will pop up, either create a new album or select an existing one to use.
Now hit "Choose photos to upload", don't hit "Upload" again this will just repeat Step 3.
It then will show your selected photos, hit Ok down in the bottom right.
Click on the picture you want to edit and it will bring up it's own screen.
How to resize the photo in Picnik
I had a hard time trying to take screenshots of the Picnik interface but I didn't let that stop me, here's a short demonstration on how to resize an image using it.
Once inside the Picnik interface hit Resize, then simply put in your desired width to fit your blog post and make sure Keep Proportions is checked.
Hit okay when satisfied then click Save to my album, then you can either Replace it or Save a new copy.
